ERIK E. CHILD, Esq.Mr. Child graduated with a baccalaureate degree in International Relations from Brigham Young University, and earned his juris doctorate degree at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. While attending law school he worked full time as a law clerk for The Law Offices of Beyer, Pongratz & Rosen, A Professional Law Corporation (“BPR”). After graduating, Mr. Child practiced as an associate attorney in class III complex business litigation, construction litigation, personal injury litigation, and general civil litigation in state and federal courts for approximate two years before becoming an equal partner and co-owner of BPR. For the next seven years Mr. Child exclusively devoted his attention to personal injury trial practice, obtaining numerous large settlements and successful jury verdicts, as well as completing appellate work resulting in published opinions. Mr. Child lectures on the use of advanced diagnostic studies as forensic evidence in cases involving cervical and lumbar spinal injuries to doctors and attorneys. In January, 2008, Mr. Child co-founded The Law Offices of Child and Gordon, a firm specializing solely in the field of personal injury and related insurance litigation. Mr. Child enjoys international travel, scuba diving, skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, reading, cross-training, and playing saxophone and piano. Mr. Child is fluent in Norwegian, is active in international charities and in his church, and loves spending time and performing activities with his five children.
CHRISTOPHER GORDON, Esq.Chris Gordon was born in San Jose, California and was raised in the Sacramento area. Chris earned a Baccalaureate Degree in Political Science from The University of Utah in Salt Lake City and then earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from The Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law in 2002. During law school Chris was an editor for the Penn State Environmental Law Journal and worked for then Governor of Pennsylvania and future Director of Homeland Security, Tom Ridge. Chris is an experienced public speaker and negotiator and is able to utilize these skills in behalf of his clients. Upon graduating from law school Chris worked with a well known Sacramento area insurance defense firm for approximately two years before joining a full service civil litigation law firm in Gold River, California. In 2006, Chris began to devote his entire practice to personal injury and in 2008 became a founding partner of The Law Offices of Child & Gordon. Chris’s practice is solely focused on personal injury law. Chris is fluent in Spanish and has effectively used this skill in representing many Spanish speaking clients. Chris is authorized to practice before all of the courts of the state of California as well as Federal Court in California. Chris is a member of several local legal and social organizations. In his free time Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and three children as well as playing golf, tennis, basketball and participating in many other sporting activities.
BRYAN JACKSON, Esq.Bryan Jackson was born and raised in Lincoln, California. Bryan earned a Baccalaureate Degree in English and Political Science from the University of California, Davis. After graduating from U.C. Davis, Bryan attended Lincoln Law School, Sacramento. While attending law school, Bryan worked full-time as a law clerk specializing in personal injury law at The Law Offices of Beyer, Pongratz & Rosen. Bryan earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 2007. Shortly after graduating from law school, Bryan became an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Child & Gordon, and in August 2009 Bryan became a Partner with Child & Gordon. Bryan is active in his community and has supported organizations aiding orphans in third-world countries and environmentally conscious energy conservation. Bryan enjoys spending time with his friends and family, traveling, and reading.
Gregory G. Jackson, Esq.Greg Jackson joined Child & Gordon in August, 2009 as the Managing Partner of the San Diego office. Prior to Child & Gordon, Mr. Jackson was a litigation associate with the law firm DLA Piper, a position he held since his graduation from law school. While at DLA Piper, Mr. Jackson represented a variety of corporate and individual clients in a diversified litigation practice, involving products liability, contract/business litigation, and motor torts. Mr. Jackson has handled matters on behalf of individuals and corporations involving a wide range of claims, including negligence, product liabilty, breach of warranty, breach of contract, unfair competition, premises liability, tortious interference, fraud, and wrongful death. In addition, Mr. Jackson has counseled clients on ERISA claims, risk management issues and compliance with respect to products regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), National Highway Safety and Tranportation Administration (NHTSA), and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Mr. Jackson was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and grew up in Annapolis, Maryland. As a scholarship student at The Pennsylvania State University, he was a four-year letterman and two-time Captain of the varsity lacrosse team, while also graduating with honors. Mr. Jackson earned his Juris Doctorate degree from The Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law in 2002. Mr. Jackson graduated magna cum laude from law school, was a member of the Woolsack Honor Society, and served as both Associate Editor and Comments Editor of The Dickinson Law Review.
Mr. Jackson is authorized to practice law in California and Maryland state and federal courts, and is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and has been appointed as a Barrister in the Louis M. Welsh Chapter of the American Inns of Courts. When not working, Mr. Jackson stays active with the community through coaching youth lacrosse programs and assisting with the R.C. Starz program in northern San Diego County.
Suzanne BianchiSuzanne Bianchi was raised in the Sacramento area and obtained her Paralegal degree from MTI Business College in 1995, and an AA in general studies from Sierra Community College that same year. She also has more recently earned her Baccalaureate Degree in Business/Marketing from the University of Phoenix, Arizona in January, 2009. Suzanne has been an office manager and account administrator for property and legal enterprises for the past eight years, and has worked full time as a paralegal since 1995 in various fields of law and capacities. She has extensive experience in paralegal and administrative services relating to personal injury and insurance defense. Suzanne is active in the surrounding communities coaching soccer and assisting with the local cheerleading programs. She enjoys charitable service, and was an event planner for the UC Davis Cancer Center Gala from 2004-2008. Suzanne enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, engaging in outdoor activities, and socializing with her friends.
IRINA BURACHEKIrina Burachek is currently attending Sierra College located in Rocklin, California. She is a consistent honors student that is majoring in Sociology. Ms. Burachek plans on attending law school upon graduation. She is actively involved with her church and has assisted in organizing international travel experiences for her church youth. She consistently volunteers her time in Ukraine with orphaned children. She is a certified notary, is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian, and enjoys all aspects of her current experience in the legal profession.
ONG THAOOng Thao is a veteran personal injury case manager that studied social work at California State University, Sacramento for four years. She subsequently attended American River College in Sacramento where she took legal assistant courses. Ms. Thao has worked for over twelve years as a legal assistant and case coordinator in personal injury cases, gaining extensive experience in handling all aspects of personal injury case management. Ms. Thao is fluent in reading and writing Hmong. She is actively involved in the Hmong community and events. Ms. Thao holds positions of service in her church. Ms. Thao enjoys spending time with her husband and son. For recreation she watches soaps and reality shows.
LISELDA ARREOLALiselda Arreola is currently a part time student at Folsom Community College and California State University, Sacramento pursuing a baccalaureate degree in education. She has experience as an administrative assistant and after obtaining her degree desires to become a certified elementary school teacher. She is fluent in Spanish, active in her church and enjoys outdoor activities.
